Large Group? No problem!

Welcome to Austin Kickoff Event

A pharmaceutical company reached out wanting an Austin-themed kick off event for their 200 team members. This was the group’s first time in Austin. They wanted to maximize the amount of time the guest’s spent all together, so they did not want them split into smaller groups.

We reserved Lustre Pearl Rainey, a quintessential Austin cocktail bar with an amazing patio and stage.

For food, we catered in Stiles Switch BBQ, Via 313 pizza, and had the Pueblo Viejo taco truck pull up onsite. For dessert, we set up a dessert bar from Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop.

For drinks, Lustre Pearl’s talented bar staff created craft cocktails for the group.

We had a amazing honky tonk band play, and a dance instructor joined to give the group two step lessons.

We set up a fun Texas-themed photo booth for pictures.

Upon departure, each guest received a custom Austin Eats gift bag, filled with Austin-themed swag.

The group LOVED every minute of it! They ate iconic Austin cuisine, drank craft cocktails and danced the night away!

Frequently asked questions

We don’t have a list that you choose from, because we can’t always guarantee availability of each restaurant/bar. We put together an itinerary based on your feedback. So, if you guys would like to have BBQ, or love breweries, or are huge fans of craft cocktails, let me know! Those types of details are super helpful in creating the perfect trip for you guys! Of course, if you have any wishlist restaurants in mind, let me know, and I’ll do the best I can to make it happen!
Absolutely! We haven’t done our job as a food tour if your group leaves hungry!
We operate rain or shine! We ask that all guests dress accordingly for the weather, and bring an umbrella if necessary! We will make sure that your group is warm/dry/cozy at each stop, but may have to walk through cold/wet/hot weather to get there!
We require a final headcount two weeks prior to the event. We place all of your orders and make all of your reservations in advance to ensure a smooth and seamless experience. Unfortunately, this means we cannot refund you if your headcount drops at the last minute. If you need to add guests at the last minute, please email us to see if it is a possibility.
If you have booked a walking tour, we are able to move your event to a different date as long as we have 72 hours notice. If you have booked a bus tour, we will need at least 14 days notice. If you need to move your bus to a different date within the 14 day window, you will be charged for the bus in full, and will need to pay for the new bus reservation. This is, unfortunately, the policy of the bus company, and we have no wiggle room here.
